Earlier, Iran admitted the mistake on Saturday, three days after the plane crash, saying that its missile had killed the passenger plane. All 176 people aboard this plane were killed. READ MORE

According to reports from Tehran, at least two universities, Sharif and Aamir, have gathered outside Kabir. Earlier it was being said that they have gathered in the memory of the people killed in the accident. But in the evening, this demonstration became furious.

Iran’s Fas News Agency has released news of protests. Usually, this semi-government agency rarely releases anti-government news. Its report says that more than a thousand people are shouting slogans against the ruling leaders of Iran.

It is believed that the presence of students is more in the protests. They are demanding action against the people responsible for killing the passenger plane.

In the slogan that the students are raising, Iran’s supreme leader, Commander in Chief Ayatollah Ali, is demanding the resignation of Khamenei and the death penalty for lies.

According to the Fas news agency, policemen have also taken action against the protesters who were blocking the road. Tear gas is also being used in the video footage seen on social media.

Iran’s passenger plane was shot down by Iran with its missile, apologizing for the mistake.

People are expressing their anger on the social platforms for this accident. A social media user tweeted, “I will never forgive those officers of my country who were involved in this crime.”

However, the protests seen in Tehran are much less than the protests after the death of Iran’s commander Sulaimani.

US President Donald Trump has tweeted in English and Persian about this protest.

In his tweet, Trump wrote, “Brave people of Iran, I have been standing with you ever since I became president. My government will be with you. We are watching your performance. Your courage is inspiring.”

At the same time, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has also tweeted the video of Iran’s protest.

He wrote, “The voice of the people of Iran is clear. They are fed up with the lies, corruption, ineptitude of the Iranian government and the terror of the army led by Khamenei. We stand with the people of Iran who deserve a better future. Huh.”

According to the report of Iran’s state TV, the army said on Saturday that it had killed the Ukrainian passenger plane by ‘mistake’.

There were 176 people on this plane. In a statement from Iran, it has been called a ‘human mistake’.

The Boeing 737 flight was of Ukrainian International Airlines. After the flight on Wednesday, it was shot down in the outskirts of Tehran. Iran had a missile attack on US military bases in Iraq and the aircraft was shot down hours later.

Earlier Iran was denying that it had killed the plane. The US and Canada had said on the basis of their intelligence that Iran had killed this aircraft. The plane was going to Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. It had 167 passengers and nine crew members. The flight had 82 civilians from Iran, 13 from Canada and 11 from Ukraine.

Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani has tweeted, “Due to human error, a missile was fired on the passenger plane of Ukraine and 176 innocents lost their lives.” Where an investigation is going on for identification of the mistake. Whoever is guilty of this terrible tragedy will not be left out. The Islamic Republic of Iran is deeply sorry for this devastating mistake. My condolences to the suffering families.

Iran has said that the aircraft unexpectedly took a turn towards a sensitive military base. Earlier, Iran blamed the technical fault for the plane crash.

The Iranian military has said in its statement, “The aircraft had come close to the base of the Revolutionary Guards Corps. In this situation, a human mistake was made and the plane was killed. “The Revolutionary Guard has said in its statement,” Anything wrong in this will be taken as legal action. The army will comprehensively improve the operation of all armed forces so that such a mistake does not happen again. ‘’

President and Foreign Minister apologize

According to the news, Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani has said that killing and plunging the Ukraine plane is a big tragedy and anyone who has made a mistake will not be forgiven.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Jawad Zarif has expressed regret. In his tweet, he has said, “Very sad.” Initial investigation of the army has revealed that it was a human mistake that occurred in the hour of crisis due to the sadness of America. We apologize for this and our condolences to the people.

Why did Iran not ban the movement of planes in Tehran?

On Wednesday, there were changes in the International Airlines route when Iran launched an attack on US military bases in Iraq. America instructed its planes not to use Iran’s airspace. Many experts are raising questions as to why Iran did not ban the movement of planes in Tehran?

In an interview, Major General James Marks, an American retired, has asked Iran why he has not stopped the movement of passenger planes in his airspace after a missile attack on US military bases in Iraq. Marx said, “When you knew the tension was at its peak. The airspace is very busy. Everyone was cautious because Iran fired a missile into Iraq. In such a situation, letting the plane go from Tehran Airport was a very irresponsible attitude. ‘’

On Friday, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo also said that Iran’s plane has been shot down by Ukraine. “We believe that Ukraine’s plane has been shot down by an Iranian missile,” Pompeo told the White House after announcing new sanctions on Iran. We are investigating this.

After Pompeo, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau also said that intelligence has shown that Iran has accidentally killed the plane.
