It was earlier said that on, a Ukrainian passenger plane crashed while flying from Tehran Airport, killing all 176 people on board.

Justin Trudeau said that he had received intelligence from several sources indicating that the Ukrainian passenger plane had crashed due to an airborne missile hit from Iranian soil. According to Trudeau, it is possible that this was not done intentionally.

Trudeau said that it would be too early to accuse anyone or come to any conclusion and he refused to give more information about the evidence. There were 63 Canadian citizens on the plane and they were all going to Toronto.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson also agreed with Trudeau’s statement and said that Britain and Canada are working closely with each other.

Earlier, US media said that Iran had accidentally killed a Ukrainian passenger plane.

According to an American news channel, American officials say they believe that the Boeing 737 aircraft of Ukraine International Airlines was hit by an Iranian missile.

Iran has called these allegations a rumour. But Ukraine has sought unconditional support from the United Nations in the investigation of the plane crash.

Ukraine has previously said that it is investigating whether their plane had fallen due to the missile. But at that time Iran dismissed such fears.

This Ukraine plane crashed immediately after Iran launched a missile attack on the US military base in Iraq.

CBS News quoted the US Intelligence Department as saying that one satellite had seen infrared blips of two missile launches and a blip of explosion just after that.

Meanwhile, Newsweek magazine quoted officials from the US Ministry of Defense, the US Department of Intelligence and the Iraqi Intelligence Department as saying that they were confident that the Ukrainian passenger plane was hit by a Russian-made Tor missile.

US President Donald Trump said on Thursday, “I have doubts about the plane.” Someone has killed by mistake.

Iran has dismissed these allegations and said that this is just a rumour. “The news of Ukraine’s passenger plane being hit by a missile is irrational,” Press TV, an official English TV channel in Iran, tweeted, citing the Iranian civil aviation ministry.

Ukraine has sought help from the United Nations in the investigation of the plane crash.

Ukraine’s passenger plane crashes in Iran, 170 dead

A passenger plane from Ukraine has crashed in Iran. At least 170 people have died in this accident.

This Boeing 737 aircraft of Ukraine International Airlines crashed as soon as it took flight from Imam Khomeini Airport in Iran.

The plane was going to the capital of Ukraine, KF. The Embassy of Ukraine in Tehran says that the accident occurred due to engine failure and has nothing to do with terrorism.

Foreign Minister Vadim Priestaiko said that 82 people from Iran, 63 from Canada and 11 from Ukraine were among the dead. Apart from these, 10 people from Sweden, three from Britain, three from Germany were also on board.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has said that he is leaving Oman’s trip in the middle and returning home. “My condolences to all the passengers and family members of the crew,” he said in a statement.

International Airlines of Ukraine has cancelled all its flights to Tehran. According to Iranian media, the relief workers have found the black box of the aircraft.

Aviation safety analyst Todd Curtis told the BBC that the crashed aircraft was built-in 2016.
