Ayodhya Case Updates: Supreme Court is giving a verdict in the politically sensitive Ayodhya Verdict case. The Bench headed by CJI Ranjan Gogoi began to pronounce the verdict at 10.30 am on Saturday. A bench of 5 judges completed the hearing on 16 October. Other members of the Constitution bench include Justice SA Bobde, Justice Dhananjay Y Chandrachud, Justice Ashok Bhushan and Justice S Abdul Nazir. On Friday, Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi called UP Chief Secretary Rajendra Kumar Tiwari and State Director General of Police Om Prakash Singh in his cabin and got information about security arrangements and law and order in the state. A five-member Constitution bench headed by CJI Ranjan Gogoi opposed the Allahabad High Court’s September 2010 decision to distribute 2.77 acres of disputed land in Ayodhya equally between the three parties — Sunni Waqf Board, Nirmohi Akhara and Ram Lala Virajaman.
