Under the American plan, the entire Jerusalem city would be under Israeli control and Israel would be able to take control of the ghetto settlements on Palestinian lands.

Under this Trump’s plan, Israel will have an occupied Jerusalem and Palestinians will be able to declare their capital near Israel’s eastern Jerusalem. The OIC lent its support to the Palestinian nation’s capital in eastern Jerusalem and emphasized its Arabic and Islamic character.

The OIC said that peace will come only after the Israeli occupation is over. Iran did not attend the meeting on Monday. Although Iran has already criticized the US plan. The ongoing dispute between Israel and Palestine is at the root of the conflict in the Middle East.

President Trump had said that his peace plan could end this violent struggle that had been going on for decades. The Arab League has also rejected the American plan before the OIC.

At the OIC meeting on Monday, Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki said, “This plan cannot be called a peace plan because Palestinians are not part of it and it ends all peace opportunities.”

US President Donald Trump has announced his much-awaited plan to establish peace in the Middle East. Trump has said that this is a solution for two countries that can be implemented.

They have said that under this, no Israeli or Palestinian will be ravaged from their homes. Trump announced this peace plan in the White House with Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, describing it as the ‘last opportunity for Palestinians’.

However, the Palestinian side has already rejected the leaked proposal.

In the White House, US President Trump has said, “Today, Israel has taken a big step towards peace. Palestinians are victims of poverty and violence. Some elements exploit them by using them as pawns to increase extremism and extremism.” Are doing. They should get a better life than this. “

“This is the first time that Israel has released the proposed map that tells what kind of regional agreement Israel has agreed to make for peace.”

Trump has said that under this plan, there will be a place to become a Palestinian capital in East Jerusalem, where America will proudly open its embassy.

Israel has built more than 100 Jewish settlements in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem

But the US President has also clarified that the area of the West Bank occupied by Israel will not be cut under this plan.

The President of the Palestinian Territory, Mahmoud Abbas, has rejected the peace plan issued by US President Donald Trump.

Abbas has said, “I want to tell Trump and Netanyahu that Jerusalem is not for sale. All our rights are not for sale. And no agreement can be made about them. Your deal, your intrigue can never succeed is.”

He said, “No Palestinian can ever accept a country whose capital is not Jerusalem.”

Earlier on Tuesday, thousands of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip protested against this plan.

Israel has built more than 100 Jewish settlements in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem. America has changed its four-decade-old foreign policy on the occupied West Bank.

According to international law, settlements made by Israel in the West Bank are illegal, but Israel does not believe it and now the US has also stamped it.

This new policy of America is considered to be a big step taken in favour of Israel. US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has not described settling in the occupied West Bank as a violation of international law.

Pompeo said that the US position on the West Bank was about negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian administration. Israel has welcomed this American step of reversing the decision of the Obama administration.

In fact, Israel is continuously settling Jewish settlements in the occupied West Bank.

After the Middle East War in 1967, Israel seized the Gaza Strip and Sinai from Egypt, the Golan Hills from Syria and the West Bank and East Jerusalem from Jordan. Since then, the West Bank has been disputed between Israel, the international community and the Palestinians.

Mike Pompeo told the report, “After careful reading of all aspects of the legal cross-examination, the United States came to the conclusion that the settlement of Israeli settlements in the West Bank was not against international law.”

He said, “It is not right to tell settlements against international law. This does not advance the peace process.”

Palestinian negotiator Sayeb Erekta called the US decision a threat to ‘international instability, security and peace’ and said that it posed a threat to international law becoming a ‘jungle law’.

Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said that this policy change of the US is a “correction of historical error”, and he also expected other countries to do the same.

The Jewish settlement case has been a long-running dispute between Israel and Palestine. After the Occupation of the West Bank and East Jerusalem, Israel settled 140 settlements here, in which more than six million Jews live.

In international law, these settlements are considered illegal, while Israel has always opposed it. On the other hand, Palestine has been demanding that all these settlements be removed.

Pompeo said that the American decision is likely to play an important role in resolving this entire dispute. But now this agreement is likely to be done on Israeli terms because after the recent decision of America, now Israel has become a stronger side.

At the same time, it will also encourage the settlement of new Jewish settlements. Ever since the Trump administration came to power in America, there has been an increase in the matters of planning and settlements.

At the same time, there is disappointment in Palestine from this decision of America. Palestinian analysts say that with the increase of Jewish settlements in this way, the possibility of a ‘two-nation’ solution to this problem has been eliminated.

In 1978, the Jimmy Carter administration concluded that settling people’s settlements here was a violation of international law. In 1981, President Ronald Reagan refused to accept the settlements as fundamentally valid.

Since then, the United States considered these settlements unfair but refused to consider them illegal and has been defending Israel on the issue.

However, during his tenure, the Obama administration did not veto the UN resolution to remove these illegal settlements in late 2016.

President Trump has adopted a more lenient approach than Obama in terms of administration settlements.

Pompeo said that the Trump administration agrees with Reagan on this debate after a detailed study on all sides.
